This is a very serious problem plaguing Florida this very moment. State officials have taken upon themselves to declare certain parcels of land that belongs to the people of Florida to be sold off. In all cases that I have been reviewing and protesting against along with hundreds of other nature loving recreationalist, scientist we have found that these properties are being sold illegally. Here is how it works. Big business decides they want certain areas of land. The raw un...touched land. Pre-developed. There soul intention is to make money off the land one way or the other. The problem is the property is the property of the people. Local and state officials are the only ones in a position to sell of land that belongs to the people....... O.K. still with me????? The big money folks kiss everyones @ss on the board of directors, including in most cases the Governors, Mayors, Judges and Chambers of Commerce for a particular region they want to destroy. Government officials cut funding to these parks. As a reward they receive huge cash pay out on the sly. While this is going on the big money folks are putting in there permits and greasing whom ever need be. All these actions are done unbeknown to the public. Before you know it the land is cut to shreds for in most all cases such as this mining and big housing development. In all these cases these big companies pay no taxes on the land, They get first right of refusal to buy up the land a a very very below accual market price for the land. The money generated from the sale goes into victitios companies and or state enhancement programs that don't work and all the money generated from such practice ends up in the 99%c hands.
