Syria's opposition claim that President Bashar al-Assad's forces used nerve gas to kill as many as 1,300 people near Damascus. If confirmed, it would be the world's worst chemical weapons attack in decades. http://reut.rs/14j3vot

The Syrian armed forces strongly denied using chemical weapons. Syrian state television said the accusations were fabricated to distract a team of U.N. chemical weapons experts, which arrived in Syria to investigate the current crisis three days ago.
